I read a blog about the Great American Aran Afghan and decided to knit it for Missy. So, I'm 6 blocks along, but I've only knitted the easy ones. I have gone to the local knit shop where they are doing a class for this very afghan, so I'll get help there. I have to admit I am much more interested in knitting brainlessly which means I knit socks. I know I can take the afghan along on our trip to Alaska with the big boat, but I'll just leave it and not work on it because I have to concentrate and look at the pattern directions. That's my knitting story for now. More later. V.

Knitting an Afghan
